Words of Wisdom from “The Secret”

March 1st, 2009

My friend Manish compiled this from his viewing of “The Secret” and I thought it might be a good reminder for everyone:

  • The Great Secret of Life is the law of attraction.

  • The law of attraction says like attracts like, so when you think a
thought, you are also attracting like thoughts to you.

  • Thoughts are magnetic, and thoughts have a frequency. As you
think thoughts, they are sent out into the Universe, an they
magnetically attract all the like things that are on the same
frequency. Everything sent out returns to the source – you.

  • Your current thoughts are creating your future life. What you think
about the most or focus on the most will appear as your life.

  • Life can be absolutely phenomenal and it should be, and it
will be, when you start using The Secret.

  • The 1st step is to ASK. Make a command to the Universe. Let the
Universe know what you want. The Universe responds to your thoughts.

  • The 2nd step is to BELIEVE. Believe that it’s already yours.
have unwavering faith. Believing in the unseen.

  • The 3rd and final step in the process, is to RECEIVE.
Begin to feel wonderful about it. Feel the way you will feel
once it arrives. Feel it now.

  • If you see it in your mind,
you’re going to hold it in your hand.

  • See yourself living in abundance and you will
attract it. It works every time, with every person.

  • Gratitude is absolutely the way to bring more into your life.

  • Energy flows where your attention goes.

  • You are the designer of your destiny and the
outcome is what ever you choose it to be.

  • You are the creator of your destiny.

  • Whether you think you can or you can’t, either way you are right!

  • The daily practice of gratitude is one of the conduits
by which your wealth will come to you.

  • Whatever we think about and thank about we bring about.

  • Here’s the problem. Most people are thinking about what they don’t
want, and they’re wondering why it shows up over and over again.

  • The law of attraction is a law of nature. It is as impartial as the law
    Of gravity.

  • Nothing can come into your experience unless you
    summon it through persistent thoughts.

  • You don’t need to know how it’s going to come about. You don’t
need to know how the Universe will rearrange itself.

  • It is impossible to feel bad and at the same time have good thoughts.

  • Create your day in advance by thinking the way you want it
to go, and you will create your life intentionally.

  • All that we are is a result of what we have thought.

  • Expect the things you want, and don’t expect the things you don’t want.

  • Gratitude is a powerful process for shifting your energy and bringing more of what you want into your life. Be grateful for what you already have, and you will attract more good things.

  • Giving thanks for what you want in advance turbo-charges your desires and sends a more powerful signal out into the Universe.

  • To attract money, focus on wealth. It is impossible to bring more money into your life when you focus on the lack ot it.

  • Feeling happy now is the fastest way to bring money into your life.

  • Tip the balance of your thoughts to wealth. Think wealth.

  • Focus on the qualities you love about yourself and the law of
attraction will show you more great things about you.

  • I always say that “incurable” means “curable from within.”

  • Laughter attracts joy, releases negativity and leads to miraculous cures.

  • When the voice and the vision on the inside become more profound, clear and loud than the opinions on the outside, you’ve mastered your life.

  • Praise and bless everything in the World, and you will dissolve negativity and Discord and align yourself with the highest frequency – love!

  • When you follow your bliss you live in a constant space of joy. You open yourself to the abundance of the Universe. You’re excited to share your life with those you love and your excitement, your passion, your bliss becomes contagious.

  • The more you use the power within you, the more
power you will draw through you.

  • The time to embrace your magnificence is now!

  • Secret Shifters, such as pleasant memories, nature or your favorite
music can change your feelings and shift your frequency in an instant.

  • The Universe likes speed. Don’t delay. Don’t second guess.
Don’t doubt. When the opportunity is there, when the impulse is there, When the intuitive nudge from within is there, act.
That’s your job. And that’s all you have to do.

  • You can start with nothing, and out of nothing and out of
no way, a way will be made.

  • Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.

  • Expectation is a powerful attractive force. Expect the things you
want and don’t expect the things you don’t want.

  • To use the law of attraction to your advantage, make it a habitual
way of being, not just a one-time event.

  • Whatever the mind can conceive it can achieve.

  • When it comes to creating wealth, wealth is a mindset.
It’s all about how you think.

Goals & Achievement: 50K Club

February 1st, 2009

GOAL III: 50k Goal Achieved

 50000-747001

My goal that I had set for nearly two years has finally manifested itself!

I work in a sale & marketing company who partners with various associations to create the Industry Buyer’s Guides for over 100 different industries. My particular responsibility is to sell the top global banner positions on the Buyer’s Guides Website to relevant vendors in each industry.

The day that I walked in for my first day at that company, I noticed the coveted $50,000 dollar wall. It is a wall that was lined with the pictures of the top 12 sales people in the company who sold over $50k in a single month.

That very day I made up my mind that I would be on that wall, whatever it took. Obviously to achieve this, I would have to become an above average salesperson.

So, how did I do it?

There is no one thing; however I can share with you a number of the practices that went into making this goal a reality.

·         Ongoing Visualization Both Morning & Nights

Although I must admit that it wasn’t necessarily an everyday occurrence, I cannot tell you how many mornings I consistently sat in a quiet place, went into a deep (often not) meditation and began to visualize the achievement of the goal. I pictured the exact sale that took me over the 50k, the great feeling within me, the positive reactions of my peers; and even imagined getting my picture taken to go up on the wall.

I played this movie again and again until it was real to me. I created these movies in my mind, countless times in contemplation and as I lay in bed at night before falling asleep.

·         Continual Imagining

Beyond the visualization process in  formal meditation sessions, I also continually pictured my picture upon that wall every time I passed it numerous times throughout the day, and accompanying this imagining were the same joyful feelings…

·         Cultivating the Feelings of Having Already Achieved It

(Through Prayer, Visualization, and Inner Cultivation)

·         Ongoing Forward Motion Through Making Sales Calls

This means that every morning I got into to work and got in front of the right customers, and stayed consistent in making sales calls, and Asking for the sale.

·         Training My Mind to Remain Persistent and Optimistic Even When Results Were Not Showing and Horizons Looked Dismal

There were numerous times that were extremely challenging where I would barely make any sales during specific weeks. There were times where I wanted to quit, where I wanted to throw in the towel and move on. But I am glad to say that I stuck with this goal.

·         Prayer

Not only did I fervently ask God for this to be answered in the words of my tongue, I also fervently Thanked God In Advance for answering me. This thanks and gratefulness ahead of time, created a very real and joyful feeling within me, as if I had already achieved the goal.

To quote Stuart Wilde “Prayer has to be a feeling to work. You have to feel that the thing you are asking for is feasible and that it already exists in your soul as a reality.”

·         “The Three Insulators “

o   Having Faith in God

o   Having Faith in Myself

o   Having Faith in Others

I set this goal to achieve in 2008. So from February until December I worked diligently to ensure, but was unsuccessful. In 2009, I set the same goal, and I am grateful to say that all of these forces have come together to make this goal a reality.

Mastermind Group

January 19th, 2009

I am continually amazed by t he power of a mastermind group. I have a solid group of 3 other guys determined to succeed at a very high level in all areas of life. We hold each other accountable for goals, and intentions we set for each other, teach each other, and make sure that we all stay on track.

Today we had our mastermind meeting where we all went over our goals for 2009. In less than an hour, 4 or 5 of the items we had set forth had already gotten put into motion right there at the table with someone offering a great idea, asking a great question, or offering to connect the goal setter with the right person.

I cannot emphasize how powerful this ongoing process of masterminding is. In fact, if you don’t have one, I recommend that you form one immediately.

Don’t know people committed to success?

ATTRACT THEM….get out to wealth networking events and shake some hands, meet some people, find out what they need, ask some questions, and STAY IN CONTACT.

Gold & Silver

January 11th, 2009

I do not trust what is happening with the dollar. The Federal Reserve has continued to print more an more currency not backed by anything but people putting their trust in small green pieces of paper.

All of these government bailouts you may be hearing about…seems to me full of arrogance and hubris. All these billions of imaginary dollars printed from thin air.

Each imaginary dollar printed decreases the buying power of the money already out there. And this cycle won’t stop until people no longer put their trust in it. Eventually, the bubble will pop, and I anticipate it having a knockout punch to the economy of the United States.

Once the dollar crashes, everyone will come running to the “safe haven” of precious metals, but by then the buying power of gold and silver will have skyrocketed. Time and time again, when a government has gone off the gold standard this pattern has repeated itself.

Gold and silver will take the cake as they always do.

That is one reason why my intention is to build up a gold and silver reserve. This year, I would like to contribute a few hundred dollars to investing these metals every month. Growing this until I will eventually be converting thousands of dollars into these metals at a time. The more I collect, the stronger the magnet will be in attracting more gold and silver.

I intend to make this a solid, continuous, and ongoing habit-strengthening the holdings every month until I eventually need to store them in various third party vaults around the world.

There is going to be an immense transfer of wealth in the upcoming years, and I intend to be ready for it.

A Tropical Beach House

January 4th, 2009

One of my biggest goals at the moment is to acquire an amazing luxury tropical beach house of my very own. And I’m not talking just any beach house; I’m talking about 6 bedrooms or more, rich wood floors, all the amenities, a mountainous forest as the back drop, and looking over a fabulous ocean horizon.

I anticipate about a 2 million dollar price tag on it, and if I’m putting 20% down—a $200,000 down payment.

This goal may seem big for me at the moment, but it is very important-and given the type of wealth that can be generated through real estate investment, very obtainable.

What if I could find a good enough deal where I could bring an investor in to a cash flowing property within the next few years?

Wealth Networking & Hiring a RE Investment Mentor

January 4th, 2009

As you can see in my goals for 2009, one of them is to remain consistent in attending meetings with wealthy people who are doing what I intend to. It is important that I surround myself with people who are already financial free, or well on their way with real estate investment and other mediums.

I have committed to getting to 40 or more of these within this 2009 year, and by God, I think I can do it.

I need to go get some new business cards printed because I haven’t had a need for them in so long that I don’t even know where they are.

Another part of my goals for this year is to hire a real estate mentor. As I have stated before, I have already been in real estate for over 5 years, and I still have not acquired any properties for my buy and rent strategy. If I intend to accumulate an immense amount of ongoing wealth and cash-flow, I understand that buy and rent is the way to go.

For some reason, I have not taken enough massive action yet, and I feel that if I have a mentor they will be able to walk me through the process, and in turn, I can model their patterns, and learn from all their experience.

You may be familiar with the term OPM (other people’s money,) but let us not forget the immense importance of OPE (other people’s experience) and the years of learning curve it can save me from.

Accountability Coach Encourages Living Up to Word

February 1st, 2007
Just before the beginning of this year, I set eight goals for myself, and wrote out a plan for the energy I am willing to exchange in order to realize them.

One of the greatest things I have brought into my life for keeping me on task, is a motivated friend who has some goals of his own. We each wrote out our intentions, and plans for reaching these intentions; and for the last two weeks we have broken them down into actions for each other, and created an Accountability Program. There are a number of calls throughout the week to ensure that we are on task and on schedule.

This is the second week, and I am glad that we are pursuing this path. I committed and lived up to 4 workouts and 3 Spanish lessons last week, and have made the same commitments for this week. I’m doing awesome, and its great to know that I have me word as a person of integrity on the line, in addition to the $200 bucks I’ll have to donate, if I don’t complete what I agreed to.
